Wow
I have not written in a while ey peeps..thanks for those that kept showing love asking where im at!
Well, i have been occupied by rather politics for the past six months and fuck, they are time consuming (FACT!). I didn't realize this until i worked for DASO (Democratic Alliance Student Organisation). I know a lot of you gone judge but please don't. I don't think anyone's political ideologies are anyone else's business. I am saying this because i am sick of people making snotty comments such as why would you join the DA and you black...nigger i have a 6 foot tall mirror in my room i know the reflection of myself coz i get to see it every morning.
Anyway i am not there...so i ran as an S.R.C candidate this year and it has been the most exhilarating. There is a lot i have learnt and there is a lot i am still to learn. A lot has also happened through out this past month and still is going on but i have braced myself because i have to juggle it with my exams.
DASO UWC according to the provisional results did not win these elections. However when counting the block votes, we ranked second from PASMA and SASCO at the bottom (where they belong). We contested these results and a reconciliation of them was done but nothing changed, instead we found that we were missing about 584 votes each candidate. This is alarming and very strange!
We will not rest until it is sorted out, whatever way this will end, we have made history in our campus and DASO is a force to be reckoned with!
